Professor Hsu-Chan Kuo is Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs at the National Academy for Educational Research (NAER), Taiwan, and Professor at the Center of Teacher Education and Institute of Education, National Cheng Kung University. He earned his PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge, UK, specialising in Art, Creativity, Education and Culture. His research focuses on creativity and imagination education, technology-enhanced learning, project-based learning, STEM/STEAM education, interdisciplinary curriculum design, digital literacy, and educational policy and programme evaluation. He has led research projects funded by Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council, Ministry of Education, and Fulbright Taiwan, addressing PISA-aligned science competencies and scientific creative thinking, STEAM PBL, XR and digital literacy, intercultural co-creation, and play and creativity in education. He also serves as an EMI Research Advisor for Fulbright Taiwan, a committee member of the Ministry of Education’s Department of Teacher Education and Arts Education, and an Associate Editor of Thinking Skills and Creativity (SSCI, Q1). His work connects educational research, policy, and school practice to advance innovation and future-oriented learning.
