Dr. Huang Shu-Ling is an Assistant Researcher at the Research Center for Translation, Compilation and Language Education, National Academy for Educational Research. Her expertise lies in bridging classical Chinese studies with modern linguistic techniques, which she applies to corpus construction, natural language processing, and language education. 　　Dr. Huang's career spans several prestigious institutions. As a postdoctoral researcher at Academia Sinica's Institute of Information Science, she contributed to corpus construction and the development of comprehensive Chinese vocabulary resources. She later served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education at National Hsinchu University of Education. Since 2016, her work at the National Academy for Educational Research has focused on teaching Chinese as a second language, including developing a proficiency grading system for learners. From 2018, she has engaged in digital humanities research at Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts, where she has been instrumental in developing an automatic word segmentation system and advancing the use of electronic Buddhist text databases. 　　Dr. Huang's publications encompass a broad spectrum, including Chinese philosophy, linguistics, language education, and digital humanities.
