摘要本計畫採用系統性評閱(systematic review)與後設分析(meta analysis)策略進行研究,除了延續現階段新移民子女的學習表現(數理、語文及語言)與適應的議題外,另對其影響學業成就之相關影響因子(例如:家庭社經地位、父母教養)進行探討。研究者已完成第一年度59篇本土與新移民子女學習表現之後設分析研究(謝名娟、謝進昌,2013),而相關編碼資料、說明指標意涵的編碼簿(codebook)及文獻納入排除一覽表,都已放置於研究者建置之網頁(http://meta.AttachedFile/NAER.edu.tw/),以供未來研究者進行二次(或更新)分析;此外,有關第二年所進行之本土與新移民子女適應概況之分析,已編碼30篇文獻(謝名娟、謝進昌,出版中),整體而言,新移民子女在適應上低於本土子女,但並沒有很大的差異。第三年則針對影響新移民子女學習表現之因素,利用系統性文獻回顧策略進行訊息搜集,再搭配後設分析,整合可能效果量,以了解相關因子,如性別、家庭社經對於學生學習表現的影響。本計畫的研究成果不僅可作為本整合型計畫與未來研究之文獻分析基礎,更期望提供此議題現行可能的概括性結論,並探討影響的調節變項。此外,研究中除每年會定期更新前年評閱議題的文獻資訊外,其相關的編碼資訊,也預計透過分享交流網站,提供國內學者參考與引用,以期引發更多的學術回響。
摘要(外文)In this study, the authors adopt the approaches of systematic review and meta analysis to investigate the relationship of academic achievement (mathematics, science and language), accommodations and related affected factors (such as family social economic status, parent's teaching) for new immigrant children. Until now, we have already completed the first year project which investigated the academic performance difference between the Taiwanese students and the new immigrant students. Fifty nine studies was coded and analyzed. The related coding information and codebook can be found at http://meta.AttachedFile/NAER.edu.tw/. For the second year, we have already coded 30 studies related to the accommodation issues for new immigrant students. For the third year, we analyzed more about the cumulatively up-to-date factors which influence the new immigration children's learning performance. The results can not only be used as the foundation for this integrated project or future research but also provide the possible conclusion for this issue. The moderators were also investigated. This research will periodically update literature of the reviewed issue every year. The related coding information from this study will be provided to Taiwanese scholars as references. By doing this, we hope there will be more interaction with other scholars.
