Biography

Chi-Chen Chen, whose research on testing theory, psychometric, measurement invariance, equating, and computerized testing, received a doctorate in education from National Sun Yat-sen University in 2018. After that, Chi-Chen began his professional career in the relevant field. Such as executing the item pool construction project, computerized testing project, and building a statistical tool and interactive dashboard in institutional research data.   In addition, Chi-Chen implements the projects "Applying Latent Class Analysis (LCA) to Large-Scale Database to Improve Power Rate on DIF Assessment and Investigate the Sources of DIF" and "Assessing item parameter drift with IRT-based growth model" from the Ministry of Science and Technology. The research outcomes were published in international journals, local journals, book chapters, and conferences. Also, Chi-Chen applies his competence to implement projects and make academic publications with experts from different fields such as science, education, sports, and nursing.
