摘要我國現行之中小學教科書制度,係由民間出版業者編輯並經教育部審定後發行;其在一綱多本的基本價值下,除著重教科用書之多元取向,並賦予教師更大專業自主權以選擇及詮釋教材。然而,有關國民中學教師對教科用書的依賴程度與使用現況,現有研究成果極為有限且多採用質性分析方法,多為部分地區或科目的調查研究。因此,本計畫擬針對全面性教科用書使用情形,採量化與質化並重之研究方法,透過問卷調查與焦點團體訪談,瞭解目前國中教師對教科用書的整體使用狀況,並據此分析探討國中教師使用教科書、學生習作、教師手冊之教學需求。本計畫之研究結果,可提供做為改進教科用書審定制度之重要參據。
摘要(外文)In the current system in Taiwan, junior high school textbooks are edited by private publishers and then reviewed and approved by the Ministry of Education before they are issued. The core value, i.e., one guideline and multiple texts, places emphasis on the diversity of textbooks and allows teachers the professional autonomy to select and to interpret the teaching materials. However, the researches on the usage and the level of dependence of approved textbooks are still limited and qualitative research oriented. This project will adopt both qualitative and quantitative methods. Through questionnaires attempts to survey the overall current usage of approved textbooks in common subjects in junior high schools, and analyze the factors affecting textbook use of teachers. This project will explore the main factors impacting the textbook use of teachers through focus group interviews and on-site observations of teaching. The results of this study will have implications for revising the junior high textbook review and approval system.
