語言是用來溝通的一種媒介，隨著不同時代新興概念、事物的出現、也常常促使新詞語的誕生或是詞語的消逝，使得語言本身不斷地演變。許多詞彙因為能確切地被應用於生活或是工作情境中，並透過各式媒介如電視、報紙、網路、教材、課本等廣為傳播，無形中成為當代生活中常用的語詞。常用語詞的資訊不僅可作為語言教學之參考，此外也可作為語文研究、以及辭典、教科書、語文工具書、教材編輯等參考。

本計畫將運用「文獻分析法」、「專家諮詢法」以及「實作法」，來進行常用語詞調查之研究初探。首先整理現今常用語詞調查之架構及流程概況，並透過諮詢各領域的專家學者，發掘更多常用語詞調查可能的應用性，並瞭解若要能夠更廣泛地作為各式研究參考，語詞調查的架構及流程設計時應列入考量之處。最後透過運用語料庫，實作常用語詞調查，驗證本計畫所提出之架構及流程建議可行性

　　Language is a medium used for communication. The emerging concepts and things occurring at different times usually promote the birth of new words or the death of words, and make the language itself evolving constantly. Many vocabularies are frequently used in life or work and widely disseminated through various media, such as television, newspapers, Internet, and textbooks, etc. Consequently, those words become the commonly used words in the daily language. The investigation result of commonly used words could be reference material not only for language teaching, but also for language research and the compilation of dictionaries, textbooks, language reference books, and teaching materials.

　　The project will use literature analysis, expert consultation, and practice method for the preliminary study of the investigation of common used words。At first, we will survey and analyze the current status of the structure and workflow of the investigation of commonly used words. And then, we will not only explore more possible applicability of the investigation result but also find out the key points of structure and workflow design that make the result could be referenced for more researches by consulting the experts in various fields. Finally, for validating the feasibility of the proposed structure and workflow, the project will use corpus to implement an investigation of commonly used words.
