This study briefly aims to investigate the curriculum deployment and material development of ‘Scientific Inquiry and Practice’ course in senior high school in the first year of 12-Year Basic Education through the quantitative methodologies by the questionnaire survey. In this year the researcher intends to explore how the curriculum would be deployed and materials would be developed in senior high schools. The results of this study would be expected to elaborately understand the implementation practices and the problems that schools might be suffered in the preliminary stage of 12-Year Basic Education, which provides more information for the future research and education policies and decision making.
